DESMA Bikers' Day 2008

For the third time passionate motorbike riders among the DESMA staff met for their bikers' day. On Saturday, 27 September 2008, all gathered at the DESMA factory entrance at 8.30 am to start a joint motorbike tour. 10 employees from different departments defied cold weather and set off in direction of the Black Forest.
After 60 km they stopped for a coffee and warming-up break in Bonndorf and then continued their trip past the lake of Schluchsee to the dam of Wehra. After a short break there, the bikers drove on on idyllic routes through the Black Forest to the hotel Haldenhof in Neuenstadt for having a pleasant lunch together.
After this invigorating rest, the way led them through the valley of Münstertal to Badenweiler passing by the Belchen mountain and back towards the lake of Schluchsee again. This year's bikers' day ended at the restaurant "Hegaublick", a well-known biker meeting place. Despite the low temperature, it was a cloudless and exiting day in autumn without any accidents - that for sure will be repeated next year.
