42 years of commitment & experience Johann Mindermann on the home straight of his career at DESMA
|
Johann Mindermann, since 1966 an always dedicated and loyal DESMA employee. His career started as service technician with our sister company, DESMA shoe machines, in Achim. Until 1991 Johann Mindermann has been travelling around the world for DESMA and its clients and with every single trip he performed not only a demanding job, but gathered valuable experiences and contacts.
His first assignment led him to France to a show. "At that time already, I had to learn to be very flexible in my work", remembers Johann Mindermann, because due to a good order situation, it was not only required to dismantle the machines exhibited within a planned 2-week period, but to assembly all sold machines at the French customer within five months.
So until 1991 a countless number of assignments in European countries followed. The then Eastern bloc states were also places Johann Mindermann was deployed to in order to fulfill very complex tasks, as in some cases even complete machineries had to be delivered and assembled.
"But particularly impressive were the non-European countries", says Johann Mindermann. Starting with the progressive regions such as the USA, Canada and the Australian contiinent to the states of the Middle and Far East. The countries of Asia were also frequent travel destinations of Johann Mindermann. On the one hand, of course very interesting and a "totally different world", on the other hand, many problems such as scarcity of raw materials had to be sorted out in a flexible and professional manner. It goes without saying that different languages, mentalities, cultures and political systems called for a very special adaptability, creativity and willingness to perform in his profession as service technician. Johann Mindermann provided this without exception and intensified it permanently. With countless successfully installed and maintained machines he has therefore also given entire satisfaction to many customers and carried along DESMA's latest technology.
Since 1991 until 2007 Johann Mindermann has been working as vice head of the Customer Care Center at DESMA in Fridingen and has always been at the disposal of international customers with his wealth of experiences.
Now Johann Mindermann is starting a new trip around the world. To get customers enthousiastic about DESMA, on 1 September, 2008 he took charge of the sales promotion for DESMA spare parts, upgrades and retrofitting and will again - as he did in the past - contribute to DESMA's success.
