Perfectly fitted with the new ServiceMobile

The days when the DESMA service technicians traveled to the customer with trunks full of small parts are over for good: Since mid-October the team of 19 technicians from the Fridingen headquarters is on the road with the new ServiceMobile heading for customers in Germany and near abroad. This van accommodates a workshop on wheels equipped with special tools and a wide range of hoses, valves and other small parts for almost any kind of upgrading, repair and maintenance. "No need to send a single part afterwards", noted the deputy manager of the Customer Care Center, Johann Karl Mindermann, talking about the first assignment of operations for the new ServiceMobile. And so the extensive upgrading of central ejectors on six machines at the company SGF in Waldkraiburg occurred not only smoothly but even faster than before. "Our customers are delighted", Mindermann sums up.

The new ServiceMobil

Besides repairs, the upgrading of DESMA production systems is a key task of the ServiceMobile, because one of the strong points of DESMA machines is their service life: They are running 15 to 25 years impeccably, Mindermann even knows of 40-year old round-table machines still in operation. As the older models run reliably but sometimes are no longer the fastest and most efficient ones, DESMA offers tailor-made "refreshing treatments" for machines and systems. As a result, the extensions, rebuilds and upgrades save the customer big investments for every new product cycle. And DESMA proves again that customer orientation is not only something written in their brochures.
