2.500th visitor on DESMA's virtual show booth
|
Early this month, DESMA made it: The 2.500th visitor could be welcomed on its virtual presentation platform. Thus, the online available multimedia application that started in March of this year and covers technical novelties as well as innovations at DESMA could meet all expectations and occupies an established place in the perception of the customers.
Consisting of five interactive meeting points with the subjects: machine concepts, mould shop, engineering, training and Customer Care, this application, which is highly regarded among experts, conveys a spatial visual appearance with deepening information content. Like on a show booth, the visitor can spontaneously switch between 13 different, physical product displays, can compare details and include various media such as film, photo, CAD as well as data sheet and description and can address questions via email to the appropriate team member. When the visitor has then arrived at the tour after a second loading process, a new world of perception opens up to him by an impressive over-flight animation making the innovative potential of the enterprise discernible.
This multi-media online offer, which is oriented by the real demand behavior, is unique in the rubber-processing industry and provides through its synopsis an extended space of experiencing technology. "Highest possible degree of customer proximity along with a globally available presentation of our innovation potential have also been the driving forces especially in the light of the current situation of the industry ", says Martin Schuermann about the positive development of the current access figures.
The development of the presentation availability has positively evolved as well. The better the local broadband connection, the faster the application is loaded. Juddering pictures and halting videos are already a thing of the past owing to the used preloader technique. Once downloaded, the presentation is any time available "at the touch of a button". "Some updates are planned in the near future ", describes Harald Schmid the next steps, "several of our partners are interested in a presentation on DESMA virtual, so that we consider setting up a sixth meeting point". Further interested parties are welcome.
